SEC. 632. REPORT. The National Science Foundation shall prepare and submit to the Congress no later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act a report examining current efforts to improve the quality of elementary and secondary mathematics and science education and career potential for the underprivileged through joint efforts of business, school districts, and institutions of higher education, and recommending ways the Federal Government may encourage such efforts. The report shall include, to the extent possible, a comprehensive list of existing efforts, an assessment of what factors have made some such efforts more successful than others, and a review of the extent to which such efforts have drawn on Federal programs.
