applicability of other subtitles Sec. 331. The provisions of subtitles A, B, and E, including provisions by their terms applicable only to officers of the Army Reserve shall be applicable to all Reserve officers serving on active duty except as prescribed in this subtitle. Officers of the National Guard of the United States on active duty shall be considered by selection boards for promotion along with other Reserve officers on active duty in lieu of examination for Federal recognition, but promotion of officers of the National Guard of the United States on active duty shall be subject to the procedures of section 336.
