Regular Army: commissioned officers on active list, exclusive of certain categoriesThe authorized strength of the Regular Army in commissioned officers on the active list, exclusive of— (1) members of the Army Nurse Corps; (2) members of the Women’s Medical Specialist Corps; (3) permanent professors of the United States Military Academy; and (4) members in designated categories specifically authorized by law as additional numbers; is 30,600.
