§ 3204. Regular Army: commissioned officers on active listThe authorized strength of the Regular Army in commissioned officers on the active list is the sum of the numbers authorized by sections 3205, 3206, and 3207 of this title, the number of permanent professors of the United States Military Academy authorized by section 4331 of this title, and the numbers in designated categories specifically authorized by law as additional numbers.
