§ 5411. Regular Navy and Regular Marine Corps: women officers (a) The authorized strength of the Regular Navy in— (1) women officers on the active list of the Navy appointed under section 5590 of this title; and (2) women officers holding permanent appointments in warrant officer grades, excluding retired officers; is equal to 10 percent of the authorized strength of the Regular Navy in enlisted women authorized by section 5410 of this title. (b) The authorized strength of the Regular Marine Corps in— (1) women officers on the active list of the Marine Corps; and (2) women officers holding permanent appointments in warrant officer grades, excluding retired officers; is equal to 10 percent of the authorized strength of the Regular Marine Corps in enlisted women authorized by section 5410 of this title.
