§ 8214. Regular Air Force: enlisted members on active duty The authorized strength of the Regular Air Force in enlisted members on active duty, exclusive of officer candidates and aviation cadets, is 502,000 less the number of members of the Air Force on active 502 duty who are neither enlisted members of the Regular Air Force nor members of the Air Force in the categories listed in section 8201 (a) (1)–(5) of this title.
