PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE.

SEC. 5002. PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, rule, or regulation, for purposes of providing assistance under paragraph (2) of section 7(b) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 636(b)(2)) for a disaster declared under section 1 of this Act, eligibility of individual applicants for assistance shall not in any way be dependent on— 101 STAT. 1481 (1) the number of disaster victims in any county or other political subdivision; or (2) whether or not an applicant who normally conducts operations in the area of the recent North Carolina coast red tide contamination is otherwise situated or located in such area; or (3) the type of business or industry in which the applicant is engaged.
