Sec. 303. An Air Force nurse or medical specialist who is promoted to a higher regular grade within one year after the effective date of this Act and who would otherwise be retired under chapter 865 or 867 71 Stat. 390 of title 10, United States Code, before that date which is two years after the date she is promoted, may not be retired under either of those chapters until that date which is two years after the date she is promoted.
