Bureau of Indian Affairs resources management There is hereby authorized to be transferred to this appropriation, from any other definite annual appropriations from the general funds of the Treasury available to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1958, not to exceed $169,000 for emergency operation and maintenance of the San Carlos irrigation project on a non-reimbursable basis: Provided, That the Secretary of the Interior is authorized to expend income received from leases on lands on the 71 Stat. 434 Colorado River Indian Reservation (southern and northern reserves) for the benefit of the Colorado River Indian Tribes and their members during the current fiscal year, or until beneficial ownership of the lands has been determined if such determination is made during the current fiscal year.
