SEC. 2202. COMMERCE NEXUS FOR TRAFFICKING IN STOLEN FIREARMS. (a) In General.— Section 922(j) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking “or which constitutes,” and inserting “which constitutes, or which has been shipped or transported in,”. (b) Alteration of Serial Number of Firearm.— Section 922(k) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by inserting “or to possess or receive any firearm which has had the importer’s or manufacturer’s serial number removed, obliterated, or altered and has, at any time, been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce” after “altered”.
