gallaudet college Salaries and expenses: For the partial support of Gallaudet College, including personal services and miscellaneous expenses, and repairs and improvements, as authorized by the Act of June 18, 1954 (Public Law 420), $730,000: Provided, That Gallaudet College shall be paid by the District of Columbia, in advance at the beginning of each quarter, at the rate of $1,295 per school year for each student attending and receiving instruction in elementary or secondary education pursuant to the Act of March 1, 1901 (31 D. C. Code 1008). Construction: For the construction and equipment of buildings and facilities on the grounds of Gallaudet College, as authorized by the Act of June 18, 1954 (Public Law 420), under the supervision of the General Services Administration, including planning, architectural, and engineering services, $1,690,000, to remain available until June 30, 1959, as follows: For a cafeteria and service building and a men’s dormitory, together with alterations, installations, and equipment in connection with such construction, and for beginning roads, walks, and grading in connection with such construction.
