§ 4357. Fees for entry and registration (a) The fees for entry as second class mail are as follows— (1) for a publication having a circulation of not more than 2,000 copies, $25; (2) for a publication having a circulation of more than 2,000 copies but not more than 5,000 copies, $50; (3) for a publication having a circulation of more than 5,000 copies, $100. (b) The fee for re-entry of a publication as second class mail on account of change in title, frequency of issue, office of publication or for other reasons is $10. The fee for each additional entry is $10. (c) The fee for registry of a news agent is $20. (d) The applicant shall pay the fees fixed by this section at the time of application. The Postmaster General shall return one-half of any fee paid under subsection (a) of this section to the applicant if he denies the application.
