SEC. 145. STORAGE OF PERSONAL EFFECTS. Section 901(12) of the Foreign Service Act of 1980 (22 U.S.C. 4081(12)) is amended— (1) in subparagraph (B) by inserting immediately before the semicolon “, except that in extraordinary circumstances the Secretary may extend this period for not more than an additional 90 days”; and (2) in subparagraph (C) by inserting immediately before the semicolon “, except that in extraordinary circumstances the 105 STAT. 669Secretary may extend this period for not more than an additional 90 days”.
