§ 11–1903. Witnesses; attachment; contemptThe coroner may summon witnesses from any part of the District to appear before him for the purpose of giving evidence, and may compel their attendance by attachment. He may punish for disobedience of a lawful order, or for a contempt committed in his presence, by a fine of not more than $5o or imprisonment of not more than 30 days.
