§ 11–934. Assistant probation officers and other employees; compensation; supervision Subject to the approval of the chief judge, the probation officer of the District of Columbia Court of General Sessions may appoint and remove such assistant probation officers and other employees of the probation office as he deems necessary. The chief judge shall fix the compensation of the personnel so appointed in accordance with the Classification Act of 1949, as amended. The probation officer shall supervise and direct the assistants and employees so appointed.
