§ 11–933. Probation officer; compensation, powers and duties The District of Columbia Court of General Sessions may appoint and remove a probation officer of the court, and shall fix his compensation in accordance with the Classification Act of 1949, as amended. The probation officer shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by law.
