AH–64 APACHE HELICOPTER MODIFICATIONS.

SEC. 113. AH–64 APACHE HELICOPTER MODIFICATIONS. (a) Authorization.— (1) Of the funds authorized to be appropriated for research, development, test, and evaluation for the Army for fiscal year 1992, $31,000,000 shall be available for the AH–64C aircraft development program. (2) Of the funds authorized to be appropriated for aircraft procurement for the Army for fiscal year 1992; $1,000,000 shall be available for the AH–64C aircraft program. (b) Limitation.—None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available for aircraft procurement for the Army for fiscal 1992 may be obligated for the AH–64B helicopter modification program until— (1) any amounts appropriated for fiscal year 1992 for the AH– 64C aircraft program nave been obligated; and (2) the Secretary of the Army certifies to the congressional defense committees that the future-year defense program of the Department of Defense contains sufficient resources to develop ana procure at least six AH–64C model aircraft for operational testing during each of fiscal years 1994 and 1995.
