SEC. 137. F–15 AIRCRAFT PROGRAM. (a) Availability of F–15 Sales Proceeds for Procurement of Replacement F–15 Aircraft.—Of the funds received by the United States from the sale of F–15 aircraft to Saudi Arabia as described in the certification transmitted to the Congress pursuant to section 36(b)(1) of the Arms Export Control Act on August 26, 1990 (transmittal number 90–36)— (1) $250,000,000 may be used for the procurement of F–15E aircraft in order to replace the F–15 aircraft sold to Saudi Arabia; and (2) $364,000,000 may be used for the procurement of support equipment for the F–15 aircraft fleet. (b) Construction With Prior Law.—The prohibition in section 134(a)(2) of Public Law 101–189 (103 Stat. 1383) does not apply to the obligation of funds for the purposes described in subsection (a) or for the acquisition of F–15 aircraft for which funds are authorized to be appropriated in title XII of this Act.
