extension of grace period for disregarding certain income for states where legislature has not met in regular session Sec. 407. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 701 of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, no funds to which a State is otherwise entitled under title I, IV, X, XIV, XVI, or XIX of the Social Security Act for any period before the first month beginning after the adjournment of a State’s first regular legislative session which adjourns after August 20, 1964 (the date of enactment of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964), shall be withheld by reason of any action taken pursuant to a State statute which prevents such State from complying with the requirements of subsection (a) of such section 701.
