Section 103(b) of the Housing Act of 1949 is amended— (1) by inserting before the period at the end of the first sentence the following: “, and by $1,700,000,000 on July 1, 1970”; and (2) by inserting after the first sentence the following new sentence: “Not less than 35 per centum of the amounts available to the Secretary for grants under this title during each of the fiscal years beginning July 1, 1969, and July 1, 1970, shall be for grants under part B.”
