(a) Section 110(h) of the Housing Act of 1949 is amended by striking out the second sentence and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “The term ‘State’ includes the several States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Trust Territory 83 Stat. 386 of the Pacific Islands, the territories and possessions of the United States, and Indian tribes, bands, groups, and nations, including Alaska Indians, Aleuts, and Eskimos, of the United States.” (b) The first sentence of section 116 of such Act is amended by striking out “and counties” and inserting in lieu thereof “counties, and Indian tribes, bands, groups, and nations, including Alaska Indians, Aleuts, and Eskimos, of the United States”. (c) The first sentence of section 117 of such Act is amended by striking out “and counties” and inserting in lieu thereof “counties, and Indian tribes, bands, groups, and nations, including Alaska Indians, Aleuts, and Eskimos, of the United States”. (d) The first sentence of section 118 of such Act is amended by striking out “and counties” and inserting in lieu thereof “counties, and Indian tribes, bands, groups, and nations, including Alaska Indians, Aleuts, and Eskimos, of the United States”.
