With respect to the assignments of district judges to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia under subsection (c) of section 292 of title 28, United States Code, as amended by section 172(e) of this Act, during the thirty-month period following the effective date of this title, the approval of the Attorney General of the United States shall not be required.
