SEC. 227. DEPOSITS AT NONPROPRIETARY AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINES. (a) In General.— Section 603(e) of the Expedited Funds Availability Act (12 U.S.C. 4002(e)) is amended by striking paragraphs (1)(C) and (2). (b) Conforming Amendments.— The Expedited Funds Availability Act (12 U.S.C. 4001 et seq.) is amended— 105 STAT. 2308 (1) in section 603(e) (12 U.S.C. 4002(e))— (A) by striking the heading for paragraph (1) and inserting the following: “(1) Nonproprietary atm.— and (B) by redesignating paragraphs (3) and (4) as paragraphs (2) and (3), respectively; and (2) in section 604(a)(2) (12 U.S.C. 4003(a)(2)) by striking “and (2)”.
