Section 314(d)(2) of the Public Health Service Act is amended— (1) by striking out “and” at the end of subparagraph (J); (2) by striking out the period at the end of subparagraph (K) and inserting in lieu thereof “; and”; and (3) by adding after subparagraph (K) the following new subparagraph: “(L) provide for services for the prevention and treatment of alcohol abuse and alcoholism, commensurate with the extent of the problem.”
