SEC. 381. DEFINITIONS As used in this part: 105 STAT. 96 (1) Activated reservist.— The term “activated reservist” means a member of a reserve component of the Armed Forces who served or is serving on active duty during the Persian Gulf conflict pursuant to an order issued under section 672(a), 672(d), 672(g), 673, 673b, 674, 675, or 678 of title 10, United States Code. (2) Farmer program loan.— The term “farmer program loan” has the same meaning given such term in section 343(a)(10) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C. 1991(a)(10)). (3) Reserve component of the armed forces.— The term “reserve component of the Armed Forces” means a reserve component named in section 261(a) of title 10, United States Code. (4) Secretary.— The term “Secretary” means the Secretary of Agriculture. (5) Other terms.— (A) Agricultural act of 1949.— The terms “crop acreage base”, “producer”, “program crop”, and any other terms used in this title have the same meanings specifically given such terms in the Agricultural Act of 1949 (7 U.S.C. 1421 et seq.). (B) Title 10.— The term “active duty” has the meaning given such term in section 101 of title 10, United States Code.
