chiropractors’ services under medicaidSec. 275. (a) Section 1905 of the Social Security Act is amended by adding after subsection (f), as added by section 247 of this Act, the following new subsection: “(g) If the State plan includes provision of chiropractors’ services, such services include only— “(1) services provided by a chiropractor (A) who is licensed as such by the State and (B) who meets uniform minimum standards promulgated by the Secretary under section 1861 (r) (5); and “(2) services which consist of treatment by means of manual manipulation of the spine which the chiropractor is legally authorized to perform by the State.” (b) The amendment made by this section shall be effective with respect to services furnished after June 30, 1973.
