Sec. 49. (a) The project for Libby Dam. Kootenai River, Montana, authorized by the Flood Control Act approved May 17, 1950 (64 Stat. 170). is hereby modified to provide that the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, is authorized to acquire not more than twelve thousand acres of land for the prevention of wildlife grazing losses caused by the project. (b) The Secretary is further authorized and directed to convey without monetary consideration, to the State of Montana all right, title, and interest of the United States in the land acquired under subsection (a), for use for wildlife grazing purposes. The deed of conveyance shall provide that the land shall revert to the United States in the event it ever ceases to be used for wildlife grazing purposes. (c) There is authorized to be appropriated not to exceed $2,000,000 to carry out the provisions of this section.
