extension of authorizations of appropriations; technical amendments Sec. 608. (a) Section 313(a) of the Adult Education Act is amended— (1) by striking out “section 310” and inserting in lieu thereof “sections 310 and 314”; (2) by striking out the word “and” after “June, 30, 1971,”; and (3) by inserting after “June 30, 1973,” the following: “$150,000,000 for each of the fiscal years ending June 30, 1974, and June 30, 1975, $175,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976, and $200,000,000 for each of the fiscal years ending June 30, 1977, and June 30, 1978: Provided, That, effective with respect to fiscal years after June 30, 1974, grants to each State under section 305 shall not be less than 90 per centum of the grants made to such State agencies in fiscal year 1973.” (b) Section 314(d) of such Act, is amended by striking out “two” and inserting after “years” the following: “ending prior to July 1, 1978”.
