acquisition, operation, and maintenance of buildings abroad For necessary expenses of carrying into effect the Foreign Service Buildings Act, 1926, as amended (22 U.S.C. 292–300), including personal services in the United States and abroad; salaries and expenses of personnel and dependents as authorized by the Foreign Service Act of 1946, as amended (22 U.S.C. 801–1158); allowances as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 5921–5925; and services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109; $29,840,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That not to exceed $1,817,000 may be used for administrative expenses during the current fiscal year. For “Acquisition, operation, and maintenance of buildings abroad” for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $8,450,000.
