acquisition, operation, and maintenance of buildings abroad (special foreign currency program) For payments in foreign currencies which the Treasury Department determines to be excess to the normal requirements of the United States for the purposes authorized by section 4 of the Foreign Service Buildings Act of 1926, as amended (22 U.S.C. 295), to be credited to and expended under the appropriation account for “Acquisition, operation, and maintenance of buildings abroad”, to remain available until expended, $9,785,000. For “Acquisition, operation, and maintenance of buildings abroad (special foreign currency program)” for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $800,000.
