vocational education act of 1963 Sec. 204. Section 161(d) of the Vocational Education Act of 1963 (20 U.S.C. 1341(d)) is amended by inserting “(1)” immediately before “At least one-third” and by adding at the end thereof the following new paragraph: “(2) From funds made available under this section, special consideration shall be given to special consumer and homemaking programs for persons aged sixty or older who are in need of services provided by such programs, as determined by the Commissioner. Such programs shall be designed to assist such persons to live independently in their own homes and to alleviate the adverse effects of loneliness and isolation.”.
