housing, appropriations limitations Sec. 505, There is authorized to be appropriated for use by the Secretary of Defense or, his designee, for military family housing as authorized by law for the following purposes: (1) For construction or acquisition of sole interest in family housing, including demolition, authorized improvements to public quarters, minor construction, relocation of family housing, rental guarantee payments, and planning, an amount not to exceed $80,576,000. (2) For support of military family housing, including operating expenses, leasing, maintenance of real property, payments of principal and interest on mortgage debts incurred, payment to the Commodity Credit Corporation, and mortgage insurance premi-90 STAT. 1361ums authorized under section 222 of the National Housing Act, as amended (12 U.S.C. 1715m), an amount not to exceed $1,223,947,000.
