Sec. 311. The Act of September 5, 1962 (76 Stat. 428) which designates the Edison National Historic Site, is amended (a) by deleting the words “accept the donation of” in section 2 and substituting the words “acquire, by donation, or purchase with donated or appropriated funds,”; and (b) by adding the following new section: “Sec. 4. There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act, but not to exceed 90 STAT. 2737$75,000 for acquisition of lands or interests therein, and $1,695,000 for development.”.
