Sec. 201. In addition to the funds authorized to be appropriated under title II of the Department of Defense Appropriation Authorization Act, 1978, funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated during fiscal year 1978 for the use of the Air Force and the Defense agencies for research, development, test, and evaluation, as authorized by law, in amounts as follows: (1) For the Air Force, $290,500,000, of which $15,000,000 is authorized for the study of wide-bodied aircraft as strategic cruise missile carriers. (2) For the Defense agencies, $15,000,000.
