requirement of united states citizenship for superintendents and assistant superintendents of cemeteries operated by the american battle monuments commission Sec. 306. The third paragraph of the first section of the Act entitled “An Act for the creation of an American Battle Monuments Commission to erect suitable memorials commemorating the services of the American soldier in Europe, and for other purposes”, approved March 4, 1923 (36 U.S.C. 121), is amended by adding after the last sentence thereof the following new sentence: “No individual may be employed as the superintendent, or as an assistant superintendent, of a cemetery operated by the Commission unless such individual is a citizen of the United States.”.
