(a) Section 2132(b)(1) of title 10, United States Code, relating to eligibility for educational assistance, is amended— (1) by striking out “automatically extended by two years” and inserting in lieu thereof “not less than six years”; and (2) by striking out “eighth anniversary” and inserting in lieu thereof “last day of the term”. (b) Section 2135 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking out “1978” and inserting in lieu thereof “1980”.
