SEC. 2854. PROHIBITION ON COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF CALVERTON PINE BARRENS, CALVERTON, NEW YORK (a) Prohibition.— Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in the event that any parcel of the Calverton Pine Barrens is conveyed by a department or agency of the Federal Government, the instrument of conveyance shall provide for the reversion to the United States of the parcel, or any portion thereof, that is used or developed after such conveyance for commercial purposes (as determined by the head of the appropriate department or agency of the Federal Government). (b) Definition.— (1) For the purpose of this section, the term “Calverton Pine Barrens” means the parcel of real property consisting of approximately 3,243 acres of real property located at the Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant, Calverton, New York. (2) The exact acreage and legal description of the Calverton Pine Barrens shall be determined by a survey satisfactory to the Secretary of the Navy.
