TRANSFER OF OBSOLETE DESTROYER TENDER YOSEMITE.

SEC. 1180. TRANSFER OF OBSOLETE DESTROYER TENDER YOSEMITE. (a) Authority.—Notwithstanding subsections (a) and (c) of section 7308 of title 10, United States Code, but subject to subsection (b) of that section, the Secretary of the Navy may transfer the obsolete destroyer tender Yosemite to the nonprofit organization Ships at Sea for education and drug rehabilitation purposes. (b) Limitations.—The transfer authorized by section (a) may be made only if the Secretary determines that the vessel Yosemite is of no further use to the United States for national security purposes. (c) Terms and Conditions.—The Secretary may require such terms and conditions in connection with the transfer authorized by this section as the Secretary considers appropriate.
