MODIFICATION OF TERMINATION OF LEASE AND SALE OF FACILITIES, NAVAL RESERVE CENTER, ATLANTA, GEORGIA.

SEC. 2832. MODIFICATION OF TERMINATION OF LEASE AND SALE OF FACILITIES, NAVAL RESERVE CENTER, ATLANTA, GEORGIA. (a) Consideration.—Subsection (b) of section 2846 of the Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1993 (division B of Public Law 102–484; 106 Stat. 2623) is amended by striking out “aggregate” and all that follows through “subsection (a)(2)” and inserting in lieu thereof “lesser of the cost of expanding the Marine Corps Reserve Center to be constructed at Dobbins Air Force Base, Georgia, in accordance with subsection (c)(1), or $3,000,000”. (b) Use of Funds.—Subsection (c) of such section is amended— (1) by striking out paragraph (2); (2) in paragraph (1)— (A) by striking out “(A)”; 107 STAT. 1896 (B) by striking out “subparagraph (B)” and inserting in lieu thereof “paragraph (2)”; and (C) by redesignating subparagraph (B) as paragraph (2); and (3) in paragraph (2), as so redesignated, by striking out “subparagraph (A)” and inserting in lieu thereof “paragraph (1)”. (c) Leaseback of Facilities.—Such section is further amended— (1) by redesignating subsection (d) as subsection (e); and (2) by inserting after subsection (c) the following new subsection: “(d) Leaseback of Facilities.—The Secretary may lease from the Institute, at fair market rental value, the facilities referred to in subsection (a)(2) after the sale of such facilities referred to in that subsection. The term of such lease may not exceed 2 years.”.
