SEC. 2309. LOCAL CURRENCIES UNDER PUBLIC LAW 480. Section 108(i) of the Agricultural Trade Development and Assistance Act of 1954 (7 U.S.C. 1708(i)) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1) by striking “and”; (2) in paragraph (2) by striking the period and inserting “; and”; and (3) by adding at the end the following: “(3) the terms ‘private sector development activity’ and ‘private enterprise investment’ include the construction of low- and medium-income housing and shelter.”.
