SEC. 8005. EXPORT FINANCING PROVIDED BY THE ADMINISTRATION. Section 7(a)(14) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 636(a)(14)) is amended to read as follows: “(14)(A) The Administration under this subsection may provide extensions and revolving lines of credit for export purposes and for pre-export financing to enable small business concerns, including small business export trading companies and small business export management companies, to develop foreign markets. No such extension or revolving line of credit may be made for a period or periods exceeding 18 months. A bank or participating lending institution may establish the rate of interest on extensions and revolving lines of credit as may be legal and reasonable. “(B) When considering loan or guarantee applications, the Administration shall give weight to export-related benefits, including opening new markets for United States goods and services abroad and encouraging the involvement of small businesses, including agricultural concerns, in the export market. “(C) The Administration shall aggressively market its export financing program to small businesses.”.
