SEC. 333. FEASIBILITY STUDY OF ELECTRIC BUS LINE. Section 314(a) of the Surface Transportation Assistance Act of 1982 is amended to read as follows: “Sec. 314. (a) Upon request of a local public body eligible to receive a grant under the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, the Secretary of Transportation shall make a grant to such public body to conduct a feasibility study to examine the possibility of constructing and operating an electric bus line with the advanced and environmentally sound electric bus technology that is being developed in the State of California for the Santa Barbara transit system.”.
