AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.

SEC. 309. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. (a) In General.—There are authorized to be appropriated to the Commission to carry out the duties of the Commission consistent with the purposes of this title and pursuant to the work plan approved under section 4 under this Act, $20,000,000 for fiscal year 1999, and such sums as may be necessary for fiscal years 2000,2001, 2002, and 2003 (b) Availability.—Any sums appropriated under the authorization contained in this section shall remain available until expended.
