Sec. 2705. (a) The unobligated balance as of September 30, 2000, of funds transferred to the United States Secret Service pursuant to the second sentence of section 240 of H.R. 3425 of the 106th Congress, as enacted into law by section 1000(a)(5) of Public Law 106–113, is rescinded. (b) Subsection (a) shall be effective September 30, 2000. (c) The amount rescinded pursuant to subsection (a) is appropriated to the United States Secret Service for salaries and expenses, to remain available until September 30, 2001.
