SEC. 305. INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY COMPLIANCE DEADLINES FOR DIRECT DISCHARGERS. (a) Extension of Deadline.—Section 301(k) is amended by striking out “July 1, 1987,” and inserting in lieu thereof “two years after the date for compliance with such effluent limitation which would otherwise be applicable under such subsection,”. 101 STAT. 35 (b) Extension to Conventional Pollutants.—Section 301(k) is amended by inserting “or (b)(2)(E)” after “(b)(2)(A)” each place it appears.
