SEC. 321. COMPTROLLER GENERAL STUDY OF CENSORSHIP OF STARS AND STRIPES NEWSPAPER (a) Study.—The Comptroller General of the United States shall conduct a study of allegations of censorship by military commanders of the Department of Defense newspaper, Stars and Stripes. (b) Report.—The Comptroller General shall transmit to Congress a report on the results of such study not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act. Such report shall include the findings of the Comptroller General regarding the validity of the allegations and any recommendation concerning those allegations which the Comptroller General considers to be appropriate.
