SEC. 705. REPORT ON MENTAL HEALTH BENEFITS. (a) Requirement for Study.—The Secretary of Defense shall carry out a study to determine the adequacy of the scope and 115 STAT. 1163availability of outpatient mental health benefits provided for members of the Armed Forces and covered beneficiaries under the TRICARE program. (b) Report.—Not later than March 31, 2002, the Secretary shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a report on the study, including the conclusions and any recommendations for legislation that the Secretary considers appropriate.
