MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR NATIONAL FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM.
SEC. 1006. MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR NATIONAL FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM. The total amount authorized to be appropriated for the National Foreign Intelligence Program for fiscal year 2002 is the sum of the following: (1) The total amount set forth for the National Foreign Intelligence Program for fiscal year 2002 in the message of the President to Congress transmitted by the President on June 27, 2001, and printed as House Document 107–92, captioned “Communication of the President of the United States Transmitting Requests for Fiscal Year 2002 Budget Amendments for the Department of Defense”. (2) The total amount, if any, appropriated for the National Foreign Intelligence Program for fiscal year 2002 pursuant to the 2001 Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Recovery from and Response to Terrorist Attacks on the United States (Public Law 107–38; 115 Stat. 220–221). (3) The total amount, if any, appropriated for the National Foreign Intelligence Program for fiscal year 2002 in any law making supplemental appropriations for fiscal year 2002 that is enacted during the second session of the 107th Congress.
