CLARIFICATION OF APPLICABILITY OF INTEREST PENALTIES FOR LATE PAYMENT OF INTERIM PAYMENTS DUE UNDER CONTRACTS FOR SERVICES.

SEC. 1007. CLARIFICATION OF APPLICABILITY OF INTEREST PENALTIES FOR LATE PAYMENT OF INTERIM PAYMENTS DUE UNDER CONTRACTS FOR SERVICES. Section 1010(d) of the Floyd D. Spence National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2001 (as enacted into law by Public Law 106–398; 114 Stat. 1654A-251) is amended by inserting before the period at the end of the first sentence the following: “, and shall apply with respect to interim payments that are due on or after such date under contracts entered into before, on, or after that date”.
