CHILD DAY CARE FACILITIES.

SEC. 6004. CHILD DAY CARE FACILITIES. Section 306(a)(19) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C. 1926(a)(19)) is amended by adding at the end the following: “(C) Reservation of funds for child day care facilities.— “(i) In general.—For each fiscal year, not less than 10 percent of the funds made available to carry out this paragraph shall be reserved for grants to pay the Federal share of the cost of developing and constructing day care facilities for children in rural areas. “(ii) Release.—Funds reserved under clause (i) for a fiscal year shall be reserved only until April 1 of the fiscal year.”.
